The full ranking
Filter by category, search by name, or select a column heading to sort.
Leaders by category
Eleven categories, based on the Global Industry Classification Standard, so that watchmakers are compared with watchmakers and banks with banks. The figure shows each brand's overall rank.
2026 Findings
What this year's ranking reveals about Switzerland's leading brands.
How the ranking works
Every score comes from published, checkable sources, with each source recorded.
40%
Global scale
Latest annual revenue, on a logarithmic scale so that a CHF 1 billion brand is not lost beside a CHF 80 billion one.
30%
Swiss value
How much of the value is created in Switzerland: Swiss made products, or businesses founded or headquartered here, with a deduction where control lies abroad.
15%
Global visibility
Attention around the world, from search interest and Wikipedia readership across languages.
15%
Impact
Validated climate targets, B Corp certification and philanthropy through charitable foundations.
Who qualifies
A Swiss home, meaning global headquarters and brand management in Switzerland, or a range that is legally Swiss made. A global footprint and revenue of at least CHF 100 million. Commodity traders are scored on gross profit rather than revenue.
